Job Summary
The Radiology Receptionist performs clerical duties that support the operations of the Imaging department.
Job Responsibilities
- Check-in patients for appointment(s).
- Perform clerical duties such as copying, faxing, CD imaging.
- May perform office procedures such as checking referral status, imaging scheduling, and/or coordinate other scheduling activities with patient.
- Utilize hospital/department communication: telephone, interface messaging
- Answer incoming calls from patients, medical offices, health care facilities, and others.
- Request images from outside facilities to be sent or send images to them as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Business school certificate or equivalent experience

- Medical Terminology Training
