Job Summary
The Supervisor, Practice Operations collaborates with the practice manager or director in the supervision of daily operations of the practice, to include on-site supervision.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead and delegate the practice activities, assisting practice manager, at the practice. May perform the same tasks as staff to include clerical, clinical, financial and inventory functions.
- Oversee the duties, processes, and scheduling of medical practice professionals and administrative support staff as assigned. Ensure staff is applying proper office workflow and completing required operational procedures.
- Plans, coordinates, and implements practice onboarding and continuing education. Assists in maintaining education file of employees via database or hard copy documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff members ensuring fluid communications between the group. Facilitate team dynamics to provide physicians with required and necessary information for physicians' ability to deliver proper medical care.
- Responsible to collaborate fulfillment of office facility needs. Complete Request Orders through electronic approval for maintenance of medical equipment, clerical supplies and other equipment needs, and ensure requests are fulfilled.
- Assist managers and/or directors with hiring selections and assists with office financial budgets and expenditures. Handle delivery check-in and inventory reporting.
- Support managers with variance reporting. Investigate inventory use. Coordinate maintenance of office financial records.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- Minimum: High School Graduate or Equivalency

- Preferred: Supervisory experience
